Our particular focus lies on hands-on mentoring during the first 90 days on the job, ensuring smooth integration and early impact. The result is a high-performing, future-ready workforce.

OFUQ 4.0 is a strategic talent development initiative by the German Emirati Institute (GEI), supported by the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement. The programme connects national priorities, industry expertise, and international knowledge transfer to build a highly skilled Emirati workforce ready to lead the industries of tomorrow.
As the UAE continues its transition toward a knowledge-based, innovation-driven economy, organizations play a critical role in developing national talent. OFUQ 4.0 provides the framework for this: a platform where government, industry, and international partners work together to strengthen workforce capabilities and drive sustainable Emiratization.
Through strategic partnerships with leading companies, OFUQ 4.0 gives high-potential Emirati talent access to practical experience, international exposure, and professional development — directly within the operational environment of participating organizations. At the same time, partner companies strengthen their contribution to the UAE's long-term vision for economic growth, innovation, and industrial excellence.

JUSOOR — Arabic for "bridges" — is a leadership and industry immersion program created by the German Emirati Institute (GEI) in cooperation with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau, and sponsored by the national foundation Sandooq Al Watan. It was developed by experienced managers from German industry with many years of UAE experience, with one goal in mind: inspiring young Emirati talent for international industry at an early stage.
At its core is the mandatory internship that students at leading UAE universities, including Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates University, Higher Colleges of Technology, American University of Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic must complete as part of their degree. JUSOOR brings these students to partner companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for a structured, twelve-week training program, during which they spend eight weeks actively contributing to real projects.
