Celebrating Community Impact: German Emirati Institute Recognized at AUS Corporate Appreciation Event
On December 12, 2024, Helmut Reichelt, Managing Director of the German Emirati Institute (GEI), attended the American University of Sharjah's "Corporate Appreciation" event. At this event, GEI was honored with the "Best Community Engagement of the Year" award, recognizing initiatives such as the Techathon in collaboration with RWTH Aachen, Internship and Mentoring Programs, and Jusoor International, sponsored by Sandooq Al Watan. This accolade highlights the successful partnerships between the UAE and Germany in education and technology sectors.

Representatives from Emirati and German companies explored investment opportunities and reinforced economic ties. The German Emirati Institute participated, showcasing its programs and expanding its network. Ambassador Ahmed Alattar and Minister President Hendrik Wüst emphasized the significance of UAE-Germany relations in their speeches. The event concluded with the celebration of the UAE’s 53rd National Day.

Khalifa University announces joining five German universities

Launch of the Think Tank to build the world’s first decarbonized Factory for the production of interior components for the mobility industry.
On February 14th and 15th 2023 the Think Tank for the “Decarbonized Factory for Future Mobile Interior” started in Aachen. New vehicle interiors are developed on a platform concept across all sectors by using newest 3D Printing technologies: from ships to road and rail vehicles to aircraft, interiors are being rethought in a new sustainable way.
