From the UAE to Germany – Jusoor International 2025 Supports Emerging Emirati Talent

The German Emirati Institute is once again proud to support the Jusoor International Leadership Programme, initiated by the UAE-Germany 4IR Taskforce and implemented by Sandooq Al Watan under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

Now in its fourth edition, the programme provides 25 outstanding Emirati university graduates with the opportunity to gain practical experience in leading German companies across the fields of technology, engeneering, and medical sciences. There have already been 76 students UAE National in Germany for the last 3 years.

Structured International Experience Across Three Phases

The twelve-week programme is carefully structured to prepare participants for real-world working environments and foster intercultural understanding:

  • Phase 1: UAE (2 weeks)
Participants take part in intensive preparation through orientation sessions, intercultural preparation, communication and empowerment training and initial project work at the UAE branches or partner companies of participating German firms.
  • Phase 2: Germany (8 weeks)
Immersion in German corporate environments, where participants contribute to operations in research and development, production, or laboratory departments. Participants are integrated into company teams and gain valuable hands-on experience in a global setting.
  • Phase 3: UAE (2 weeks)
The programme concludes with a return to the UAE-based partner companies, where participants consolidate their learning, contribute to local projects, and reflect on their international experience.

Fostering Talent, Building Bridges

The Jusoor International Programme is more than a technical internship – it is a platform for long-term capacity building and cross-cultural collaboration and preparing future leaders for their professional career. Participants are mentored throughout the programme, work in closely coordinated “buddy teams,” and engage in cultural and networking activities alongside their professional training.

By supporting this initiative, the German Emirati Institute contributes to preparing a new generation of Emirati professionals to thrive in the global knowledge economy, while strengthening bilateral ties between the United Arab Emirates and Germany.

As of now, Phase 1 of the programme has just concluded. The participants are well-prepared and excited to embark on their journey to Germany, where they will soon join their host companies for an intensive 8-week placement. We wish them all the best and look forward to sharing more updates from their time abroad.
